The remaining trip to Oregon was a sight to see. The landscape was vast. Almost every time the scenery changed, GO brought up some sort of comment, "That's where the shot the Lord of the Rings."
"They filmed Free Willy here," another line from GO.The last bit of the car ride was filled with laughter (mainly from Shelby), GO was cracking jokes left and right. There was a lot of scenery to look at during the ride, waterfalls, a big lake in which we got in a debate whether it was a lake,river, or reservoir. When we got to our hotel, the place had booked the wrong kind of room which caused a few problem, but after Pastor Marshall puppy eyed the the people at the desk, they were able to find a better deal at a sister hotel. This one is like an apartment, and has a pool, spa, weight room, basketball court, tennis court, and FREE DINNER. Well tomorrow we get to meet the church and have our first service with them and we're excited. Time to hit the sack so we'll be well rested.
Good morning Pioneers! GO was correct about one Free Willy was filmed there but not where you guys went. You will have a much better stay at the Residence Inn, Don't forget full breakfast! Have FUN! Ms. Rosemarie
